Spring Fair Thank You!

The PTO thanks you!

The Spring Fair was a huge success!  A great crowd showed up to play!  It takes many hands for an event like this to happen, and many, many people help!  Thanks to all who donated items for the raffle baskets, donated cakes, cupcakes, and/or food for the concession stand, helped set up, helped clean up, ran game stations (Amie Weddleton, Erin Lawler, Lisa Candito, Patrick Zephyr, Dave Hawkins, Sarah Rogowski, Cara Rigali, Jim Hanson, Katheryn Mahoney), painted young happy faces, spent money and more!  All of our efforts paid off!  The PTO raised about $2000 in one day!

Many thanks to businesses who donated products:

Roadhouse Café
Loose Goose Café
Henion Bakery
Atkins Farms
Bruegger’s Bagels
Target
Trader Joe’s
Big Y
Stop & Shop

Also, thanks to Nicole Bland for bringing the petting zoo, Matt Wolaver, Lee Halasz, Steve Lawler and Mike Hayes for inventing, setting up, and cleaning up the wicked fun obstacle course, Mike Hayes, Chris Gould and Lisa Zephyr for making the cake walk so much fun, Jill Isabelle for loaning us the grill to save money, Michael Candito and Jim Hanson for grilling, Tara Luce, Amber French, and Emily Gonzales for selling food and running games, Leanne Hunt for selling raffle tickets, Sarah Frenette, Adam Frenette and Sue Hawkins for selling game tickets, Lennie Ware and Charlie Thompson for giving out prizes, and the list goes on.  The clean up crew rocked!  Thanks Dave and Sue Hawkins, Sarah Rogowski, Cara Rigali, Jen Jackowitz, Lisa Candito, Lennie Ware and Kim Cllicoatte for staying late and getting the job done.

Thanks to Lisa Desjarlais, Mr. Graiff, Mr. Schmith, and Lennie Ware for logistical support!  Former students Hattie Carolan, Merrick Stromgren, Bridgette Hasbrouck and others are heroes for coming back to spontaneously run games!  Thanks to the UMass volunteers, we couldn’t have done it without them!

If anyone was inadvertently left off this list, please accept our apologies, and THANK YOU!

Sage Scott and Jessica Hanson,
Event Coordinators
